The connector can be used to connect two hose ends of a 1/2" PE hose. For example, when connecting two PE hose reels, or even when repairing a damaged area, this connector provides a reliable and quick connection. Also a connection with drip hoses (1/2" outer diameter) can be made with this connector.

Suitable for all common manufacturers of 1/2" PE pipe (16mm outer diameter / approx. 13mm inner diameter). Please make sure with a pressure reducer that the connections are not pressurized with more than 3 bar. These irrigation fittings are designed for 1/2" inch PE pipe or 16mm drip tubing, if the hose you are using is hose is larger or significantly softer, leaks may occur. Take then better 17mm connectors or fittings.
