Sensors for accurate and efficient control
All Plug&Rain® controllers are equipped with a matching Hunter sensor to meet the water requirements of your plants, which fluctuate greatly due to the changing weather conditions. This enables your irrigation controller to assess the prevailing weather conditions and react accordingly. For example, the controller interrupts watering when it rains and does not restart watering cycles until the ground has dried.
Remote control of your system via smartphone
The smart irrigation control units (only available with Plug&Rain® EXPERT and PREMIUM) achieve an even better assessment of the water requirement. They use internet-based weather data to predict evapotranspiration. Combined with an on-site sensor system that readjusts in the event of small-scale, local weather events, you achieve an optimal water supply for your plants with the smallest possible amount of water.
Advantages of the Plug&Rain® irrigation controllers
- Easy programming of the controller: stationary or via app, depending on the model.
- Adjustment of irrigation with rain sensor or climate sensor Solar-Sync.
- Robust and proven technology for reliable function.
A tip from the pros
It is advisable to size your Hunter controller so that you have approx. 1-2 extra control circuits available after connecting the valves. This way you can add more irrigation circuits to your system at a later date if necessary. The control unit of the Plug&Rain® PREMIUM line allows for modular expansion even in the event of a major subsequent expansion of your system.
Good to know
All Plug&Rain® irrigation controllers are supplied with 230V power. They are connected to the valves of the valve distribution and the optional main valve of the filter unit via a separately available control cable. One control wire per valve plus a common wire for the connection to earth are calculated for the number of wires required.
