The 2-core DVS Premium cable is perfect for connecting, for example, a Hunter flow sensor to a Hydrawise controller when the controller is located at a greater distance from the sensor cable. Due to the ST shielding, there is less susceptibility to interference in the data transmission from sensor to controller. This makes the signal transmission more reliable and less susceptible to errors.

Special cable suitable for Hunter Hydrawise flow meter

The flow meter wires must be wired back to the controller and connected to the sensor inputs on the Hydrawise controller. See table below for wiring of standard Hydrawise flow meters (sizes include 3/4", 1", 1.5", 2").

Hydrawise Flow Meter: use only shielded cable

300 meters maximum length between controller and flow meter. This cable can be used as a shielded cable for direct burial. The cable is constructed of two dedicated wires. It should not be in the same conduit, cable bundle, or trench as the control cables for the solenoid valves. DO NOT use a common cable for solenoid valves and flow meters.
