Mounting Sprinklers

While in principle it is possible to screw a sprinkler directly onto a clamp connector with an external thread, we recommend the flexible connection with a movable element between the PE pipe and the sprinkler.

The advantages of a flexible connection:

• The height of the sprinkler can be (re-)adjusted during installation.
• The sprinkler can be adjusted in height even years later when the substrate is dropping or filling up.
• When the sprinkler is collapsed, e.g. when walking over it, the clamp connector is not stressed directly, but the force is absorbed via the flexible assembly pieces.

There are various systems available for flexible mounting.
Here we want to introduce the Swing Joint models-, Hunter Pro Flex- and the Blu Lock-System.
