Excessive line pressure can reduce the service life of gear sprinklers and MP rotators during lawn irrigation. In the case of spray nozzles, high line pressure results in more spray mist. We recommend setting the line pressure for lawn irrigation to the optimum pressure level with a corresponding reduction. You will find the correct information in the technical data. If no information is available, simply use the average output value.
In the case of drip irrigation or micro irrigation, the pressure reduction ensures safety and also a longer service life of the components, since the filigree micro elements of the irrigation are exposed to significantly less pressure stress if the water pressure is set to an optimum value of approx. 2.0 bar with a pressure reduction.
