Water tap connection Plug&Rain
The Plug&Rain® water tap connection creates a visually appealing and high-quality connection from the water tap to the underground PE piping. The large internal cross-sections of the components used keep pressure losses low, even at the high flow rates encountered in irrigation systems. The high quality of the components guarantees a long life expectancy.
A tap connection for 25 mm PE pipes is correctly dimensioned if the water consumption does not exceed 1.8m³ per hour and the pipe lengths are less than 50 meters per irrigation circuit. If the system is designed for an even higher flow rate or has exceptionally long pipes, we recommend that the entire system and also the tap connection be designed in the 32 mm (1" inch) version.
The parts seal at the threaded connections by means of surface seals. The connections are tightened only hand-tight or so tight that there is no more leakage. Avoid over tightening as this can damage the seal.
