Your own greenhouse in the garden, a dream for every ambitious hobby gardener! Plants thrive here that would otherwise only grow poorly in our colder climate zones and the harvest period for native vegetables can be drastically extended. But how do you meet the high and individually varying water requirements of crops in the greenhouse?

Since our vegetables generally do not appreciate overhead irrigation, such as with a watering spray, but still require moist soil for healthy growth, we recommend a system for the greenhouse that irrigates close to the substrate and is adaptable and flexible. As there is no natural precipitation in the greenhouse to provide moisture, we rely on a system that is particularly safe and resistant to disturbance. The XFS drip tube from RainBird uses copper ion technology to prevent clogging of the drip holes due to algae growth or root ingrowth, thus ensuring reliable irrigation at all times.

In order to be able to shut off individual irrigation lines - for example after a crop has been uprooted - valves are included in the set. To maintain the crops, the drip tube can be removed from the bed and then simply laid out again between the plants.

Technical:

The set contains 25 m of drip pipe (Ø 17 mm), sufficient for approx. 10 m² of usable area as well as straight connectors to connect the drip pipe to the 16 mm (1/2") PE supply line. Earth hooks are also included to fix the drip pipe in the beds.

Attention:

This set is only intended for outdoor use. Please remove the water from your irrigation system during the frost period by blowing it out with compressed air or store the parts of the irrigation system protected from frost during the winter.
