This rain sensor (or moisture sensor / evaporation sensor) can be connected to the Claber Dual Select, Tempo Select and Tempo Logic irrigation controllers and prevents watering in rain or damp weather. Ideal for controlling your irrigation on vacation (vacation irrigation) or for the whole frost-free year. Suitable for flower boxes and flower beds on the balcony as well as for drip irrigation and sprinkler irrigation in the garden.

Rain sensors are a useful accessory to prevent overwatering of plants in rainy and cold weather. This sensor can be connected to the Dual Select, Tempo Select and Tempo Logic controllers. The rain sensor switches off the irrigation from 5 mm of rain per square meter. Irrigation starts again automatically when the collected rain has evaporated.

DESCRIPTION

Can be installed on all irrigation systems and prevents unnecessary water wastage by suspending the start of sprinklers, drip pipes or micro-irrigation when it rains. The sensor is connected to the dedicated sensor input port on the battery controller. When the float inside reaches a level of 5 millimeters of rain per square meter, operation of the system is interrupted. When the water in the sensor evaporates, the programmed irrigation is then automatically resumed. The rain sensor „Rain Sensor“ is installed outdoors in an unprotected location using the stainless steel bracket supplied. The sensor does not require separate batteries as the control unit supplies the signal via cable.
