As the name suggests, the purpose of the drain plugs is to prevent the water from flowing back into the system at the end of operation. This has the following reasons: On the one hand, it prevents the pipe from running dry when the ground is dry and the associated formation of puddles. Secondly, it effectively prevents possible damage caused by pressure peaks on the housings and the rotators or the spray nozzles.
Installation is simple and is also possible with the housings installed. To do this, the upper part of the spray nozzle housing must be removed, then the outlet plug can be fitted to the base of the riser (press in gently until it snaps into place). Now everything can be reassembled in reverse.
