Drain stop valve for PROS housings - HUNTER

The drain plugs for the PROS housings from HUNTER are primarily spare parts for the PRS40-CV housings, but they can also be used to modify the standard or PRS-30 housings.

As the name suggests, the purpose of the drain plugs is to prevent water from flowing back into the system at the end of operation. This has the following reasons: Firstly, it prevents the pipe from draining when the ground is dry and the associated pooling. Secondly, it effectively prevents possible damage caused by pressure peaks on the housings and the rotators or the spray nozzles.

Therefore, a subsequent modification of already installed housings that do not yet have outlet plugs (PRS-30/Standard) also makes sense.

Replacement is simple and is also possible with installed housings. To do this, the upper part of the sprinkler housing must be removed, then the outlet plug can be fitted to the base of the riser (press in gently until it snaps into place). Now everything can be reassembled in reverse order.
