25 m Roll PE Pipe PN6: The Pipe for Your Micro Irrigation and Drip Irrigation
You can use this PE pipe for micro irrigation in the garden or on balconies and terraces. The installation is made e.g. on a water tap using an adapter piece onto 3/4" male thread. For the installation of elbows, tees or end pieces, barb fittings or 16 mm swivel joint fittings can be used. The supply line serves as a main line for the installation of drip irrigation, spray irrigation or micro irrigation. It is connected to the tap with an adapter from ¾" male thread to 13 mm barb fitting. As an option, a tap control and a pressure reducer can be interposed.
Depending on line pressure and length, approx. 0.5-1 m³ of water per hour can be supplied through a ½" pipe. In a drip irrigation system this is sufficient to water e.g. 50 drip points with 20 litres per hour. In case of higher water demand, several irrigation circuits must be set up. These can then be controlled with a 2-circuit tap control or with a valve box.
The following options can be used to fit drippers or sprayers:
A: A hole is punched into the PE pipe using a 4 mm punch, and a dripper or sprayer is inserted directly.
B: A hole is punched into the PE pipe using a punch, a 4 mm junction is inserted, a 4 mm ID tubing is attached to it and a dripper or sprayer is mounted on top. The dripper is then fixed to the root ball with a ground spike so it stays above ground and gets less dirty.
C: With the patented rapid assembly for the installation of a drip and spray irrigation. The junction is placed on the PE pipe, the mandrel drills into the pipe, then the junction is fixed by pressing the clamp shut. No tools are necessary. The 4 mm ID tubing can be attached directly.
