Hunter Wireless Solar Sync Sensor: Intelligent Weather Sensor for your Irrigation Control System

Wireless SOLAR SYNC SENSOR WSS-SEN: "Wireless sensor und wireless receiver" option for HUNTER X-CORE, PRO-C, ICC2, I-CORE, ACC and ACC2 control units. The interface to the control system is already integrated in the current models of the mentioned control units.

For weather-sensitive irrigation, high-quality control and measuring units are essential. The innovative Hunter control units can be equipped or retrofitted with the Solar Sync sensor.

The Solar Sync is a weather sensor which calculates evapotranspiration. These data are based on local weather conditions and are adjusted daily. The Solar Sync sensor measures sunlight and temperature. Based on the results, the adjustment of the irrigation time is calculated and sent to the control unit. The Hunter control unit uses the weather data from the sensor to correct its scheduled running time accordingly. This ensures an optimal irrigation time. The user does not need to worry about further settings. The irrigation system is perfectly controlled at all times and thus guarantees excellent plant care.

Furthermore the Solar Sync ET sensor integrates the popular Hunter Rain-Clik and Freeze-Clik sensors. This ensures a fast response to changing weather conditions. The system switches off automatically during rainy and frosty periods. An added advantage is that the Solar Sync sensor is compatible with most Hunter control units. This solution is applicable to private, commercial or public areas.
