The central filter catches particles before they enter the irrigation system. In the Expert and Premium qualities, a main valve is also installed, which switches the system pressureless when the irrigation system is not running.

Dirt particles such as grains of sand, rust from corroded supply lines or lime precipitates are very often found in tap water. The dirt load is even higher in well and cistern water. These contaminants can interfere with the operation of your irrigation system and cause damage to your garden and plants, especially during extended periods of unattended operation.  With a Plug&Rain® filter unit you can significantly increase the reliability, operational safety and life expectancy of your irrigation system.

With the underfloor filter unit in the Plug&Rain® system, you get a filter unit in uncompromisingly high EXPERT or PREMIUM quality with an extended range of functions thanks to a manual shut-off valve, an electrically operated main valve and access for compressed air. The large-volume filter unit with a mesh size of 130 microns reliably protects your irrigation system from contamination and keeps pressure loss extremely low even at high flow rates.

If the filter becomes clogged - indicated by a drop in irrigation system operating pressure - you can simply flush it clean after opening the valve on the filter's lid. For winterization, you can drain your entire irrigation system conveniently and professionally via the compressed air Access.
