Description

Filter differential pressure - Manual measurement - Pressure gauge Plug&Rain Eco

With the pressure drop measuring set from DVS Beregnung, you get a simple solution for monitoring and testing your filter function. For optimal operation of your irrigation system.

This set is specially designed to measure the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of your filter. When filters become clogged (sand, organic material, etc.) the amount of water that can flow through the filter is reduced due to the increased pressure difference. The resistance of the filter increases. The higher pressure drop means that sprinklers achieve a smaller throw and drip pipes deliver a smaller amount of water.

Rinsing the filter can solve the problem. But when does a filter need to be flushed?

You can't see this from the outside, which is why our pressure measurement set is a useful addition to your irrigation system! The two pressure gauges, at the inlet and outlet, measure the pressure while the irrigation is running. If the pressure drop is low, e.g. 0.05 - 0.1 bar pressure difference between inlet and outlet, everything is fine. If the pressure drop increases, e.g. 0.2 - 0.3 bar, then the filter should be flushed.

A clean filter ensures the efficiency and longevity of your irrigation system.

  • Two precise pressure gauges: Enable accurate measurement of the pressure drop across the filter. One pressure gauge is mounted on the supply line (inlet) and the other on the outlet (outlet) of the filter.
  • Connection components: Carefully selected parts for safe and easy installation of the pressure gauges.Sealing material: simply create a tight connection - with our sealing kit
  • 6mm drill bit: For drilling out the connection thread on the filter to enable operation of the pressure gauges on the filter

Application areas:

  • Well water filtration: pressure difference due to an accumulation of sand in the filter.
  • Rainwater from cisterns: Organic material and deposits in the filter.
  • Pipe water filtration: Lime or rust particles.

Advantages:

  • Early detection: By directly reading the pressure drop, clogged filters can be detected and cleaned in good time.
  • Maintenance efficiency: Enables efficient flushing and cleaning of the filter to restore maximum performance
  • Extended lifetime: Regular monitoring and maintenance ensures the function and extends the service life of your irrigation system.
  • Easy installation: The set has been designed for uncomplicated self-assembly and can be installed without tools.

Ideal for: Farmers, garden owners and landscapers who want to ensure the efficiency of their irrigation systems.

Retrofit possible: connect the pressure sensor set to new or existing filters!

  • The pressure sensors can be retrofitted to all filters that have a 3/8" thread at the inlet and outlet.
  • For the connection, a 6mm hole must be drilled into the port and the thread sealed, the required accessories are included in the delivery
