Installation tool for type series XB-PC

This installation tool allows quick, easy one-step installation of Xeri-Bug™ droppers and PC modules directly into 1⁄2- or 3⁄4-inch drip tubing, XF or green drip lines.

The multi-function tool for inserting and removing drippers, inserting 1⁄4-inch hose barbs, and installing plugs allows you to work quickly and efficiently.

The dropper tool also works with ¼-inch connection couplings as well as fluted ¼-inch tees.
To remove the Xeri-Bug dropper, use the side of the tool.
Likewise, it is possible to use 1/4-inch pipe plugs to seal holes in ½-inch lines. The bottom of the dropper tool is used for this purpose.

Procedure

1.Place the Xeri-Bug dropper at the end of the tool. Press the nipple into the side wall of the ½-inch drip line.
2.Pull the tool away so that the Xeri-Bug dropper remains embedded in the tubing.
3.Slide the ¼-inch drip line onto the Xeri-Bug dropper.
