Piston seal for gearbox sprinklers I-20-ADS and I-20-36S - HUNTER

This piston seal is used to seal the riser pistons of the I-20 gearbox sprinkler family. If the sealing effect of the piston seal deteriorates, it is advisable to replace it soon, otherwise the function of the gearbox sprinkler will deteriorate more and more until at some point the riser no longer rises and the water simply runs past the piston.

To replace the piston seal, the gearbox sprinkler must be removed from the housing. After the gearbox sprinkler head is removed in the next step, the seal, which is located between the spring holder and the seal holder, can be replaced directly. After reverse assembly, the gearbox sprinkler can be tested for function.
