EVOPRESS pumps are recommended for pumping clean water and liquids that are not chemically aggressive toward the pump’s materials. Due to their high efficiency and reliability, they are suitable for applications such as supplying domestic water from reservoirs, tanks, or relatively deep wells; using rainwater from cisterns in water gardens; or for use in irrigation systems, etc. An internal electronic component automatically starts or stops the pump when a draw-off point is opened or closed.

INSTALLATION AND USE IN GARDEN IRRIGATION WITH RAINWATER TANKS

PEDROLLO EVOPRESS pumps are recommended for use in tanks to pump rainwater into the irrigation system. The rainwater should be as clean as possible. This is achieved in several steps. First, the rainwater should be filtered as thoroughly as possible before it is directed into the cistern. This can be done at the junction where the downspout connects to the cistern, or by installing a filter directly before the water enters the cistern. The pump should be equipped with a floating suction mechanism so that the rainwater is drawn in as close to the water’s surface as possible. This ensures that rainwater that is as clean as possible is pumped from the cistern into the irrigation system. This prevents pollen or other floating contaminants in the cistern from being drawn in. Second, the floating suction prevents dirt and inorganic particles from being drawn in from the bottom of the cistern. Third, the central filter in the irrigation system ensures that no contaminants enter the irrigation system. Due to its efficiency and reliability, this pump is suitable for use in garden irrigation. Rainwater is pumped from the cistern as soon as a solenoid valve opens or water is manually drawn from a faucet or water outlet. This is ensured by the integrated pressure switch, which activates the pump as soon as the pressure in the line drops due to water withdrawal. The integrated electronic control system then automatically shuts off the pump when the relevant water outlet is closed by the user or the irrigation control system.
