Rain sensors are a useful accessory to prevent overwatering of plants in rainy and cold weather. This wireless sensor can be operated together with the Dual Select, Tempo Select and Tempo Logic controls.
The rain sensor switches off the irrigation from 5 mm of rain per square meter. Irrigation starts again automatically when the collected rain has evaporated.

In addition, the radio module "RF Rain Sensor Interface" must be installed in the respective control unit! This is not part of the rain sensor but must be ordered separately!

The rain sensor is equipped with radio operation. The sensor interrupts irrigation when it rains. Communication takes place with the Dual and Tempo irrigation computers via the optionally available interface (Art. 8480). The wireless rain sensor „Rain Sensor RF“ is installed outdoors in an unprotected location using the stainless steel bracket supplied. The wireless modules do not require any electrical connections or wiring. The range of the radio link is up to 30 meters. The Claber rain sensor works with 2 alkaline manganese batteries 1.5V type AA.
