The distribution fittings are made of PVC. They are designed so that the distributor can be easily installed in a valve box or mounted on the wall. The union fittings can be tightened by hand without tools.

When installing the distribution system, care should be taken to ensure that PE pipes are connected to the distributor without tension so that no lateral forces act on the connectors. This can be achieved, for example, by using an additional elbow in the PE pipe.

The fittings make it easy to connect valves to irrigation systems. You can screw Hunter or Rain Bird solenoid valves into the existing internal threads. The smooth end faces of the solenoid valves are pressed onto the O-ring integrated in the manifold. This seals the entire valve manifold when they are tightened by hand. These fittings also allow valves to be easily removed for servicing, even after many years. Pro tip: Install the manifold so that solenoid valves are accessible from the right and left via union fittings. Then it is not necessary to disconnect PE pipes or dismantle the entire manifold from one end in order to replace a defective fitting in the middle!
