Water tap connection 25mm Plug&Rain Premium

The Plug&Rain® tap connection Premium for 25mm (¾" inch) PE pipe impresses with its combination of high-quality brass and stainless steel components in the above-ground area and a high-quality clamp connector for 25mm PE pipe. This creates an uncompromisingly high-quality connection from the tap to the underground PE pipework. Due to the particularly large internal cross-sections of the components used, pressure losses are kept low, even at high flow rates such as occur in irrigation systems. Use on 1" inch taps is also generally possible with the Plug&Rain® tap connection Premium. The uncompromising quality of the components guarantees a long service life.

A tap connection for 25mm PE pipes is correctly dimensioned if the water consumption does not exceed 1.8m³/h and the pipe lengths are less than 50 metres per irrigation circuit. If the system is designed for an even higher flow rate or has exceptionally long pipes, we recommend that the entire system and also the tap connection be designed in the 32mm (1" inch) variant.

The Plug&Rain® tap connection 25mm Premium includes a 2-way manifold, which is completely constructed from brass screw connector elements with 1" threads. Two large brass ball valves allow the water to flow freely if required.  One tap outlet is used to connect the irrigation system, the other continues to allow water to be easily drawn from the water supply, without the hassle of remounting. A hose coupling can also be easily attached to the ¾" inch external thread of the distributor outlet in the same way as a water tap. Permanently connected to the manifold, a flexible stainless steel pipe leads down to the ground, where a high-quality clamp connector is used for the transition to the 25mm (¾" inch) PE pipe. We recommend PE pipes with pressure rating PN10 (10bar pressure resistance at 20° C) or more for the area permanently under supply pressure upstream of the valve manifold.

All connections seal via surface seals. The connections are only hand-tightened or tightened to the point where there is no leakage.
Avoid over-tightening as this can damage the seal. The enclosed reducer is used when used on a ¾" inch tap.
