Do your flower beds, shrubs or hedges suffer from heat and drought in the summer months? Would you like a particularly water-efficient irrigation system that can also supply water to narrow areas in your garden or to plants on difficult terrain and steep slopes? In this case we recommend our drip pipe through which the water is slowly and directly released into the root zone. In this way, evaporation losses are minimised and the plants are watered with pinpoint accuracy.

To irrigate a bed, drip pipes are laid evenly on the ground at a distance of approx. 35cm, the individual strands are connected with tees and secured with ground hooks. For hedges, a drip pipe is laid on both sides and the two strands are also connected to each other. Stand-alone shrubs can be enclosed with a ring of drip pipe. A fitting with a matching pressure gauge is used to supply the drip pipe. The fitting is connected to your 25mm supply line with a pressure fitting.

The Plug&Rain® Premium Drip Pipe Assembly Unit comes with all the parts necessary to irrigate an area of around 35m² with drip pipe in above-ground installation. The Premium drip pipe from market leader Netafim offers maximum resistance to clogging, operational reliability and a long service life with chemical-free root ingrowth protection, anti-siphon function, a filter built into the emitter and water extraction from the middle section of the drip pipe. The connection set with shut-off valve and pressure gauge with integrated filter unit is intended for the terminal fitting to your 25mm (¾") supply line. The flexible BluLock pipe allows for particularly simple and precise fitting of the connection.

The Plug&Rain® Premium Assembly Unit comes with the connection unit pre-mounted and ready for installation. If required, additional connection units can be ordered separately (ZS-TR25PREM-01-VM). The blue BluLock pipe should always be installed completely underground due to its lower UV resistance.

The enclosed Premium drip pipe is suitable for above-ground as well as underground use. If underground installation is intended, then the additional add-on set (ZS-TREXP-02-VM or ZS-TRPREM-02-VM) for underground installation is to be used.
