Dirt particles such as sand grains, rust from corroded supply lines or lime precipitates are very often found in tap water. The dirt load is even higher in well and cistern water. These contaminants can interfere with the operation of your irrigation system, causing damage to your garden, especially during extended periods of unattended operation. With a Plug&Rain® filter unit, you can significantly increase the reliability, operational safety and life expectancy of your irrigation system.

With the Premium underground filter unit in the Plug&Rain® system, you get a filter unit of uncompromisingly high quality with an extended range of functions thanks to a manual shut-off valve, an electrically operated main valve and access for compressed air.

The parts are ready to install in a handmade deep black box, which can be installed above or below ground.

The large-volume, 130-micron mesh filter unit safely protects your irrigation system from contaminants and keeps pressure loss extremely low, even at high flow rates.
Should the filter become clogged - noticeable by the irrigation system's decreasing operating pressure - you can simply flush it clean after opening the valve on the filter's lid.

The indestructible brass Hunter IBV main valve is opened by your Plug&Rain® controller and automatically depressurizes your entire system outside of watering hours. This greatly increases operational reliability.

For the winterization, you can drain your entire irrigation system conveniently and professionally via the compressed air access.
