In pumps with integrated electronic control, the pump starts or stops automatically when a tap is opened or closed. This happens both when a solenoid valve is activated by the irrigation control and when water is drawn manually from a water outlet.

A pressure expansion vessel that is correctly designed for your pump or system, and set to the correct pressure, prevents the system from being switched on and off too frequently. This not only saves energy but also increases the lifespan of your pump.

The dimensions of the pressure equalization vessel should match those of the pump and the amount of water drawn.
