DVS LoRa Wireless Soil Moisture Sensor - 1 Level – Eco

The DVS Sprinkler LoRaWAN Sensor Node with 1 SMT50 – Soil Moisture – Sensor from the Truebner Company is designed for outdoor use and is powered by an 8500mA Li/SOCl2 battery for long-term use. The battery life is at least 2 years.

To use this device you will also need the DVS Smart Garden Gateway:

• DVS Smart Garden Gateway: Plugs into the wall socket in the house and connects to the WLAN - sends data to the cloud
• .DVS LoRA Wireless Soil Moisture Sensor: Is placed in the garden and the sensor is buried (at the height of the root center of the plants to be monitored)
• .DVS-Beregnungsplaner - My-Garden Ansicht: There we register the sensor and there the moisture values are visualized

The sensor node is designed to transmit data from soil moisture sensors with the use of LoRa wireless technology to the database of DVS Beregnung. It helps users optimize their garden irrigation by incorporating local soil moisture data into irrigation monitoring and control.

The soil moisture sensor provides accurate information about the water reserves in the soil. The sensor measures the soil moisture in the root zone - for the optimal start of the next irrigation.

A temperature sensor monitors the soil temperature in the root zone.

Only 1 gateway is needed per garden, and up to 50 sensors can be registered to it. The radio link between sensor and gateway can be über 1km.
