If you want to change from a male thread connection to a female thread of reduced size, you need a suitable transition piece. The corresponding parts from Irritec are ideal for this purpose.

With this resilient and cleanly processed transition sleeve, the connection of the selected parts works without problems. Due to the robust polypropylene plastic material, the transition piece can be loaded up to a pressure of up to 10 bar without damage. This transition piece has a 3/4" female threaded connection and a 1/2" male threaded connection. To properly seal the connection, Teflon tape, Teflon thread, or even a liquid gasket is recommended unless the parts being connected already have a suitable gasket.
