T-fitting for thin-walled drip line.

The T-fitting is used to branch off a thin-wall drip line –16 mm (6–12 mil) when setting up the irrigation distribution system. It is used when a branch line needs to be routed from a main line to the next row or to a separate planting area. In systems with layflat main lines, the T-fitting enables rapid water distribution in multiple directions. This is particularly advantageous for crops where irrigation zones differ in length and row orientation, or where the terrain is uneven. The fitting facilitates maintenance and seasonal adjustments to the system. For a secure connection, a clean, straight cut and sliding the drip line all the way to the stop are important.
