System separator from SYR BA 6610 In-Line
The SYR BA 6610 in-line LF system separator is a compact safety fitting in accordance with DIN EN 1717, group B, with controlled separation (three-chamber system). It corresponds to the BA installation type defined there and can therefore be used for protection up to and including liquid category 4.
Its task is to prevent non-drinking water from being sucked or flowing back into the public drinking water network. It is therefore a protective mechanism to prevent contamination from any dirt particles being sucked into your domestic water circuit.
The fitting must be permanently accessible and must not be installed in rooms where flooding, frost or high temperatures are possible. In addition, the installation should be carried out in a well-ventilated environment.
The drainage device to be connected must be able to absorb the discharged volume.
The BA 6610 system separator must be installed horizontally and with the drain valve (funnel connection) facing downwards. The pressure measuring points must allow for the faucet to be checked manually.
To ensure proper functioning, we recommend connecting a drinking water filter with 130 µm upstream.
