The Rain Bird® XFS-CV Dripline features root intrusion protection (Copper Shield Technology) and a high performance 0.3 bar check valve. A check valve in each dripper ensures that the drip line remains filled with water even when there is a height difference of up to 3 m and that no water escapes from the pipe at the end of the irrigation process.

The Rain-Bird XFS is protected from root ingrowth by Copper-Shield technology, making it suitable for both above-ground and underground installation. Its high flexibility makes it easy to install. The pressure-compensating drippers provide uniform irrigation along the entire length of the dripline, even on slopes. The drip pipe is connected via pressure-reducing connection units such as ZS-TR24EXP-01-VM.
If underground installation is desired, ventilation of the drip pipe must be ensured so that no particles are sucked into the drip points after the irrigation phase. For this purpose, the appropriate supplementary sets for underground installation (ZS-TREXP-02-VM or ZS-TRPREM-02-VM) can be used.

The Rain Bird® XFCV drip line with a high performance 3.5 psi (0.25 bar) check valve for above ground applications is a valuable addition to the Rain Bird XF drip line. The XFCV is the most effective drip line in the industry and ideal for areas where no other drip line will work. When used in applications with elevation changes, the drip line stays filled with the patent-pending check valve and retains 8 feet (2.5 m) of water. Rain Birds XFCV provides better uniformity and helps to,
prevent overwatering at the low point of the zone, while avoiding puddling and water runoff from the drip line. It is compatible with Rain Bird Easy Fit compression fittings, XF drip line hose barbs and other 17mm hose barbs.

Using a proprietary hose material, the XFCV drip line with heavy-duty check valve is the most flexible drip line in the industry. Design and installation are greatly simplified as a result.
Rain Bird's low-profile dripper design reduces pressure loss in the line, allowing for longer branch lines, simplifying design and reducing installation time.
Different dripper flow rates, dripper spacing and roll lengths provide design flexibility for above ground areas with or without grade changes.

Manufactured with recycled materials

All Rain Bird XF drip lines (XFD, XFS, XFCV, XFS-CV) achieve 4.2 LEED points because the capital cost includes at least 20% recycled polyethylene materials. These are available in an assortment of roll sizes, flow rates, and drip spacing
