DV/DVF Series valves are especially recommended for use in locations where the use of a separate pressure vacuum breaker (PVB) or double check valve is required to protect against backflow by city ordinances.

All of our residential valves will work with any standard sprinkler timer.

Features

Double filtered (diaphragm and solenoid) pilot flow design provides maximum reliability and dirt resistance.
Using the special Buna-N diaphragm with self-cleaning 90 mesh (200 micron) pilot water filter and captive spring, the solenoid valve is well equipped for long service.
The energy-efficient, low-power, encapsulated solenoid with fused plunger and 90 mesh (200 micron) solenoid filter provides water flow control.
Using Rainbird`s unique, easy-turn, pressure-assisted flow control mechanism (DVF models only), the desired flow rate can be decreased or increased during operation.
Manual external relief allows debris to be flushed out during installation and system start-up.
The 9 volt solenoid makes this solenoid valve suitable for combination with most battery operated control devices.
The 100-DV solenoid valves are also suitable for low-flow applications and green-surface drippers when a 200-mesh filter is installed upstream.
Rain Bird recommends that flow rates in the supply line that result in flow velocities should not exceed 2.3 m/s (7.5 ft/sec) to reduce the effects of water hammer.
Rain Bird domestic valves cannot be used with PRS pressure regulating modules.
Not recommended for use with two-pipe systems.
For flow rates less than 0.68 m³/h (0.19 l/s or 3 gpm) or for green surface drippers, use an upstream 200 mesh filter.
