The expansion module is compatible with all models of Rain Bird ESP-LXME, ESP-LXMEF and ESP-LX irrigation controllers and expands them by up to 12 stations.

The module can be attached during regular operation of the irrigation controller. To do this, gently push it into a free space on the back plate of a controller until it clicks. The red indicator light will flash once when the expansion module has been properly connected.
