LoRa Wireless Soil Moisture Sensor -Starter Kit

Starter set consisting of DVS Smart Garden Gateway and DVS LoRa wireless soil moisture sensor - 2 Levels

DVS Irrigation LoRaWAN Sensor Node with 2 SMT50 - Soil Moisture - Sensors from Truebner Company is designed for outdoor use and is powered by 8500mA Li/SOCl2 battery for long-term use. The battery life is at least 2 years.

To use this device you will need the DVS Smart Garden Gateway, which is included in this set:

-DVS Smart Garden Gateway: plugs into the socket in the house and connects to the WLAN - sends data to the cloud.
-DVS LoRA Wireless Soil Moisture Sensor: Is placed in the garden and the sensors are buried (one sensor in the center of the root, one under the root)
-DVS Irrigation Planner - My-Garden view: where the sensor is registered and where the moisture values are visualized.

The sensor node is designed to transmit data from soil moisture sensors using LoRa wireless technology to the DVS Irrigation database. It helps users optimize their garden irrigation by allowing local soil moisture data to be incorporated into irrigation monitoring and control.

Two soil moisture sensors provide accurate information about the water reserves in the soil. The upper sensor measures soil moisture in the root zone - for the optimal start of the next irrigation. Moisture measurement below the roots with the second sensor shows whether irrigation is running too long.

A temperature sensor transmits the soil temperature in the root zone.

Only 1 gateway is needed per garden, up to 50 sensors can be registered to this gateway. The radio connection between sensor and gateway can be over 1km.
