The Plug&Rain® Eco control set with the Hunter X2 controller offers a simple and cost-effective way to automatically water up to 4 irrigation circuits. Thanks to the included WAND module, the X2 becomes “smart”: it can be integrated into a Wi-Fi network and then conveniently controlled via the Hydrawise platform. Irrigation starts and stops independently according to specified parameters such as duration, cycle and start time.

A variety of water-saving options protect against excessive watering and reduce operating costs. The included Rain-Clik rain sensor automatically interrupts the irrigation cycle when it rains and resumes it when it dries.

Please note that the Hunter X2 has only one sensor input, which is already occupied by the rain sensor. The X2 is not compatible with Hydrawise water meters; choose EXPERT or PREMIUM smart controllers for this.

Installation instructions

This Plug&Rain® Eco control set is suitable for indoor and outdoor installation:

• Cable connection
  • The cables are connected in the control box housing after removing the lower panel.
• Power supply (230 V)

• Sensor input
  • Remove the metal bridge and connect the two sensor cables to “SEN”.
• Valves
  • One cable of each valve is connected to “C” (common), the remaining valve cables are connected separately to stations 1, 2, etc.
  • The valves are connected via a multi-core underground cable. The number of cores corresponds to the number of valves + 1.
