Georipper / Geotrencher chain 500x25mm (max. 500 mm trench depth, 25 mm width; 2 pieces).

GeoTrencher® / Georipper® replacement chain with 25 mm diameter for the GR500 bar.

Sold as two GeoTrencher® / Georipper® replacement chains in one box.

Step 1: Lay the drive motor on its side on a flat surface. Position the drive motor so that the digging rail bolts are visible. Use an 18 mm wrench to loosen the clamping bolts.

Step 2: Hold the digging rail with the mounting slot facing the drive motor. The digging rail can be rotated. The digging chain (GeoTrencher® / Georipper® replacement chain) is directional!

Step 3: Place the digging chain around the deflection star of the digging rail. The digging chain is directional, please pay attention to the information on the chain box.

Step 4: Place the digging chain over the GeoTrencher® drive pinion mounted on the drive motor. Hold the digging chain in place. Guide the mounting slot of the digging bar over the mounting bracket. Then pull the digging bar away from the drive motor to slightly preload the digging chain.

Step 5: Install the two large clamp screws, lock washers and clamp plate. Lightly tighten the clamp bolts with the 18mm wrench.

Step 6: Insert the slotted screwdriver into the digging rail clamping slot on the back side. Pull the digging rail away from the drive motor. Tighten both clamping screws to maintain chain tension.

The chain tension for the GeoTrencher® / Georipper® replacement chain should be selected so that the chain sags 25-38 mm in the middle of the bar.
