Electromagnetic valve IBV 1" IG - HUNTER

The IBV solenoid valves are characterized by a special feature and represent the non plus ultra of HUNTER solenoid valves: they are made of solid bronze!

The solenoid valves in the IBV series owe their enormous resistance to this fact, ensuring years of operation in all conditions. Both the hood and the body are made of cast bronze, into which the valve seat and the internal threaded ends of the valve are subsequently milled. HUNTER uses stainless steel for the flow regulation. As is typical for HUNTER, the valve is controlled via the standard solenoid coil, in which the solenoid coil is cast into the housing to ensure absolute watertightness. The diaphragm which is used in the IBV comes from the already very robust ICV valves, which, however, appear almost fragile in comparison to the IBV

The IBV can also be equipped with an ACCU-SYNC pressure regulator to ensure the most constant possible water pressure downstream.

The IBV series also features other innovations, such as the double bellows diaphragm seal to ensure leak-free operation. Even contaminated water is no challenge for the IBV valves.
