All manifold connections have a 1" BSP thread. Combinations of 1" male BSP threads and 1" female threads are available,allowing easy installation and maintenance of irrigation solenoid valves in a valve box. The union fittings allow components to be easily removed from an existing valve manifold for maintenance and replacement. The o-ring seals built into the female fittings automatically become tight when tightened, you don't need Teflon tape / PTFE tape.

When mounting the tavlit manifold, make sure that PE pipes are brought up to the manifold without tension, so that no lateral forces act on the tavlit connectors. The fittings make it easy for you to connect valves to irrigation systems. You can screw Hunter or Rain Bird solenoid valves into the existing female threads. The smooth faces of the solenoid valves are pressed onto the O-ring integrated in the manifold. This seals the entire valve manifold when hand tightened. These fittings make it easy to remove valves for servicing, for example, even after many years.

Professional tip: Set up the manifold so that solenoid valves, for example, are accessible from the right and left via union fittings. Then it is not necessary to disconnect PE lines or to disassemble the entire manifold from one end to replace a defective fitting in the middle.
