Alongside water, cables are a basic building block for a functioning automated garden irrigation system. The use of this type of cable conduit provides mechanical protection for underground cables and also allows additional cables to be laid later without having to dig trenches in the garden again. The use of this type of cable conduit is particularly recommended when the valve box and/or the control unit is not close to the house.
The cable conduit is made of polyethylene and is both moisture and acid resistant. Corrosion and weathering also have no effect on it. As it is intended for underground installation, it is not UV-resistant.
