MICRO PUMPS

Micro pumps for micro irrigation are suitable for smaller irrigation projects on the balcony, in the greenhouse or in a raised bed. Ideal also for urban gardening and urban farming on a small area. Micro pumps are available in various designs, such as membrane pumps or piston pumps. Piston pumps convey the water mechanically via a reciprocating piston, membrane pumps operate via vibration. Piston pumps can pump smaller quantities of water than membrane pumps, but they are more stable due to their design.
As a micro pump can only pump small quantities of water, not too many consumers should be connected. Otherwise there won?t be sufficient water pressure to supply all dripping points and/or sprayers evenly.
