Geared Sprinklers

Gear-driven sprinklers achieve particularly large spray widths (7 - 12m) and are suitable for large lawns, preferably at right angles. A single water jet is guided back and forth through the adjustable sector by a gear. An assortment of interchangeable nozzles allows the adjustment of water quantity and distance.

When selecting the nozzles, it should be noted that the sector has an influence on precipitation. If the same nozzle sprays over a 90° sector and over a 180° sector, then the precipitation in the 90° sector is twice as high, because the sprinkler covers the surface twice as often.

When sprinklers are operated with different sectors in a circle, the nozzles should be adapted to them, and the 180° nozzle should then produce twice as much water as the 90° nozzle.
